Original Work
This work depicts the leeward (eastern) section of Dartmoor, the area of Dartmoor closest to where I live. While the moor is typically thought of as an area of high rainfall and a lush even boggy landscape, the leeward (eastward) side has spells of defined dryness, and a very different palette to the rest of the moor. It is the colours of this leeward side of the moor that gives me my inspiration.
