One of my first ‘real’ jobs while in Australia was in a power station. It wasn’t a great job, but what I started looking forward to each day was the industrial aesthetic of the place. The architecture had its own majestic style, and the experience of industry with its daily time-keeping of clocking on and off for each shift in a queue of helmeted workers in blue uniforms and dungarees, remains strong in my mind. With poetic license I’ve re-imagined the experience in the country I now live.
Medium: Mixed media on Arches paper
Dimensions: 38cm x 50cm in a white frame
Price: £475.00
